Right, so I'm making an effort to figure out this website. I was never good with LJ, and I'm guessing this is much of the same. I don't want to be supporting tumblr anymore though, so here I am.

First mission; add friends/ follow people / whatever it's called on this website.

That's a really good guide on how to do dreamwidth, and read the comments: there are guides in the first few on how to find people to follow.

If you go to conuly's journal, you'll find WHOLE HEAPS of link posts with roundups and userguides.

I think here it's called "subscribing"? Although I always want to say "friending" because, two years later, I still struggle not to use all the old LJ terminology, haha. I wish every website would just agree on a set of words and stick with it! XD

Yeah it would be super helpful if they all agreed on the same wording! I was looking for the comment button earlier and I couldn't find it because it said "reply" instead of comment 😅
